Highlights

In recent years, various factors such as the global pandemic, effects of the climate crisis, inflation and economic pressures have impacted the achievement of desired outcomes for children in Kenya.  It is therefore crucial to highlight the role of policy choices, actions and budgetary allocations in shaping the nation’s priorities for children’s well-being and development in the run-up to the Government of Kenya’s Vision 2030 and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. By focusing on critical issues ranging from early childhood development, health, education, nutrition, WASH, social protection, and child protection, we aim to highlight priority actions and investment cases to improve outcomes for children in Kenya.
